Anthony Provasoli

Anthony specialises in telecommunications and financial services. His work in recent years has increasingly focused on developments in international telecoms where he has advised several governments and multinational corporations.
Anthony has long experience in acting on international banking matters. He is a member of Gibraltar’s Financial Services Commission, the regulatory body and independent supervisor of the financial sector, since 1991. Anthony heads the team that established and now acts for the majority of credit institutions operating in the jurisdiction. He has contributed various articles to Butterworths’ Journal of International Banking and Financial Law as well as numerous articles in the professional press.
After graduating from University College Cardiff with an Honours degree, Anthony attended the College of Law in London. He was called to the Bar in London in 1975 and in Gibraltar in 1976, and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Bar Council of Gibraltar. Anthony became a partner of Hassans in 1982 and serves as the firm’s Managing Partner. He speaks English and Spanish.
