Foreign & International Law9 Stone Buildings has a wealth of expertise and experience in foreign jurisdictions and international law.We have members who regularly act as advocates or advisers in S E Astia (particularly Singapore and Malaysia), the Caribbean (particularly the Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands and the British Virgin Islands), North America, Europe (particularly Eire, Gibraltar and Switzerland). Some members are regularly instructed in the UK offshore jurisdictions of the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. We have members who are also members of the Bars of Northern and Southern Ireland, the Federal Bars of California and Arizona in the USA, Grenada and N S Wales in Australia. 9 Stone Buildings is considerably strengthened in this area by its Overseas Members who, as well as being members of the English Bar, are leading practitioners in their jurisdictions; Nicholas Critelli, a trial attorney in the states of Iowa and New York, a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court and Former Chair of the Iowa Bar Association (2004) James Levy Q C and Anthony Provasoli are partners in the internationally known law firm of Hasans in Gibraltar. Dr. Raymond Ashton is a member of the English and Irish Bar and a Guernsey Advocate. He is also a Chartered Accountant. |
