PUPILLAGE One Chancery pupillage, either practising or non-practising, is available at any one time. The offer made will be of a non-practising 6 month pupillage, commencing in October of the following year, which will be extended for a further 6 month practising pupillage on satisfactory completion of the first 6 month pupillage. There are currently no third six month pupillages available. The Head of pupillage is Mr. Martin Young. To download Chambers Pupillage Policy please click here (PDF format) MINI PUPILLAGE Each year we offer a limited number of places for "mini pupillages" for students interested in finding out more about a career at the Bar, particularly the Chancery Bar. These mini pupillages usually last for up to a week. The object is to allow the student to meet barristers, see some of the work that they do in these Chambers and to ask questions about a career at the Bar. Preference is given equally to: law undergraduates non-law undergraduates committed to law conversion post-graduate study gradutes undertaking or committed to law conversion post-graduates study All mini pupils are required to sign a declaration of confidentiality. The Member of Chambers in charge of mini pupillage is Mr Matthew Slater and applications for mini pupillage should be addressed to him.
